Voltagegate (Jeremy Bruno)
"Voltage Gate is a blog about ecology and the creative process, a look at two disciplines both in isolation and through the lens of the other. Here you will find reviews of current and foundational ecological research, original illustrations as well as commentary on environmentalism, aesthetics, fiction and scoiety." (Banner by Heather Ravenscroft--she has other nifty art there too.)

Midway Fair
http://midwayfair.wordpress.com/
"Midway Fair’s folk-rock sound and songwriting are influenced by British and American traditional styles, indie rock, pop, blues, jazz, country, and peripheral styles like music hall and stride.
Although many of our songs are crafted to be lighthearted and fun, we tackle serious subjects like war, poverty, and (of course) love with poetic grace and intelligence. Our first album, Fireworks at the Carnival, was released on December 11, 2009."
This is their darling video, Fireworks at the Carnival: A Love Story

One woman, one horse, three goats, umpteen fowl, one husband, two kids.
"Its never been my style to just let things be. No - whenever things are going great, I have this insatiable need to kick it up a few notches to the What IF category."

Banners of Death (Dave K.)
http://www.beeohdee.blogspot.com/
This is Dave. You should read Dave. Dave says, "I'm a reluctant bohemian who works in theatre and writes for a living. I'm also getting an MFA In Creative Writing and Publishing Arts at the University of Baltimore. Finally, the important thing to remember is that I was wearing an onion in my belt, which was the style at the time."

Shattered Wig Press
http://shatteredwig.blogspot.com/
"Shattered Wig Press, publisher of The Shattered Wig Review and many fine books of poetry and prose, has been going down the rabbit hole of culture since 1988. We are based in Baltimore, Maryland, home of Poe, Billie Holiday, John Waters, David Simon, murder, pavement surrealism and liberationist absurdity. We are always looking to publish the gritty, mischievous, magically absurd, brutally poignant or simply put miraculous communication."

Sean Scheidt
http://www.seanscheidt.com/
Sean is a wonderful art photographer. He says: "Meeting new people, exploring new ideas and painting with light, this is why I photograph. Oringinally trained as a painter, I began incorporating photographic elements into my paintings until they became a dominant feature. I believe in making photographs not just taking a photograph; creating a stage for a more accurate rendering of ideas. Relationships are essential. An image is not only a dialogue between itself and a viewer, but a conversation between the photographer and model."
